attempts to describe the desolation and misery associated with the
drought in Australia....where everyone has a defined parcel of land
which is their life. Not only is there the threat of the
banks
potentially foreclosing and bringing their life on the land
to an
end....but there is
always, in the dry heat, the danger of bushfires.....
